Every single one of our York Stone products is supplied directly from our quarry partners in Yorkshire or from our premises in Surrey. We deliver to mainland UK using our vast network of independent haulage companies and depots to provide our customers with the most cost-effective York Stone delivery solutions. At Yorkstone Supplies, we know how important it is for your order to arrive safely and undamaged which is why we provide a range of options and discuss the best delivery solution for your needs.
Our lead times between placing an order and receiving delivery can vary depending on your product choice and how bespoke your order is. The time of year may also affect lead times, specifically during Winter months the quarries tend to freeze up and machinery cannot be operated. Due to these factors, we will always add a buffer into our lead times so they will always be as accurate as possible.
We work with our trusted haulage companies to ensure your delivery is made on time and in pristine condition, and so our lead times take this into account also. As all of our York Stone is genuine and quarried directly in Yorkshire, lead times depend on the type of stone and what extra masonry work is required. You will find accurate lead times when purchasing your chosen York Stone.
Please contact our expert team if you’re looking for stocked York Stone products with fast delivery or if your project requires a faster turnaround than the given timescales, we will always try our best to accommodate your order. If we have stock availability on-site, lead times may be shorter and you could receive your order within a matter of days! We work extremely hard to ensure that you receive your delivery in time to complete your project.
For smaller orders, we use a shared load system and make full use of distribution depots in order to improve the efficiency of our nationwide delivery system. With this in place, we are able to arrange deliveries to most parts of the UK for very reasonable rates whatever the size of your order. This system can save you money on delivery costs and we can discuss options with you to make sure you receive your order in the most cost-efficient and quickest way.
For standard deliveries (up to 5 pallets), we can deliver in one load using a tail lift Lorry to make unloading quick and easy at most premises. If your order is above £3000, you will receive free delivery.
Please note that this delivery method is not suitable if you have a gravelled drive, and so you would have to ensure you put down wooden builders boards (ply boards) to allow the driver to get to the destination to unload. Please make sure you have a suitable area covered for delivery of the total amount of pallets. You should have two boards minimum for deliveries of up to 4 pallets.

We do offer Next Day Delivery but it does depend on if the product you have chosen is in stock at that time. Please do contact us if you are looking for Next Day Delivery and our team will assist you.
For larger deliveries (up to 12 pallets) we use a HIAB and products will be unloaded to a suitable location to allow ease of unloading products from pallets or to keep in a safe place until the products are ready to be used. Please note that costs for larger deliveries may vary depending on your location, so please let us know of any access issues when placing your order. This delivery method is suitable for unloading in difficult to access areas and over fences, hedges and benefits from a faster offload.
For large deliveries containing up to 22 pallets, we use an articulated lorry with a fork lift included. The ride on forklift is 8 feet wide and is an off-road vehicle which means that we can deliver the pallets to a place of your choosing and we’re able to unload on gravel drives. This delivery method is good for fast offloading and the fork lift is a huge benefit when it comes to placing pallets wherever necessary. This delivery method is not recommended for central London deliveries or country roads and areas with low hanging trees.
Unless otherwise arranged, the vehicle making the delivery will have the facilities to unload your order with minimal damage and in a suitable location. However, please ensure that someone will need to be present on-site to accept and sign for the delivery.
If you have any concerns about large vehicles having difficulty in your locality or in gaining access to your property, please contact us to discuss this prior to placing your order.
As all of our deliveries are made by third parties, we cannot be held liable for late deliveries. Someone must also be on-site to accept a Yorkstone Supplies delivery, otherwise a re-delivery charge will be passed on to the customer.
Delivery schedules are rarely time specific due to the nature of the product and delivery method although our couriers will always call you on the morning of delivery to give an approximate delivery time. We do strive to meet tight deadlines but as there are many factors beyond our control, we do require some flexibility with deliveries.
If you have any questions, our expert team are always on hand and help you with anything at all, so please contact via web chat or call 0800 170 1799.
